There are total 6 zones inside Corbett national Park

Dhikala

Perfect example of the unscathed natural beauty, the Dhikala ecotourism zone has the most picturesque landscape in the Corbett National Park. Immensely rich in the wildlife variety, it is the most sought after tourism zone in India. Dhikala zone is the largest among the five zones of the Corbett tiger reserve with having the most beautiful landscape which consists of dense Sal forest, large grassland, narrow valley and various channels of the Ramganga river.

Bijrani

Among the six safari zones, Bijrani zone is considered as the best zone after the Dhikala zone to spot the tiger. The picturesque landscape of this zone, which consists of large grass fields known as Chaurs and dense Sal forest, plenty of waterholes and river streams is no less enchanting than the Dhikala zone. The chances of tiger spotting in this zone are almost similar to the Dhikala zone and the tiger sighting is reported often by the safari tourists. 

Jhirna

Situated at the southern edge of the Corbett Reserve Park, the Jhirna tourism zone offers some exclusive tiger and sloth bear sighting along with the spectacular view of the landscape which is pretty rich in wildlife. The topography of the Jhirna zone primarily is a dry deciduous type and consists of a large Grassland, which is the favorite place for the herbivores of the zone like deer, chitals, nilgai and elephants. 

Dhela

Dhela Zone is the sixth eco-tourism zone of Corbett National Park that was brought on India tourism map in 2014. Here, you can find mixed forest such as Saal, Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, Kusum vegetation, which makes it ideal for birdwatching tour in Jim Corbett Park. Along with abundant flora and bird population, Dhela Zone has a good population of tigers, bears, elephants and leopards.

Garjiya

This zone is enriched with huge number of floral and faunal species. Garjia gives a tough competition to Dhikala zone while the tourist’s preferences are concerned. The zone is known for its wonderful landscape and is very calm and quite place. Garjia consists of a mixed topography with dense Sal forests combined with grasslands.

Durgadevi

Nuzzled in the northeastern corner of the Corbett National park, the Durgadevi zone boasts of having the most beautiful landscape in the park. The hilly terrain with the lush green forest and the intense tranquility is what defines the magnificent beauty of the Durgadevi tourism zone in the Corbett tiger reserve.

Sitabani Corbett Landscape

The Sitabani forest zone is the reserve forest zone located outside the Corbett Tiger reserve area. The zone is treated as the Buffer area of the tiger reserve and is open to everyone to visit here. The landscape of this zone has a rich natural view which consists of dense forest and river streams along with many old temples.

Phaanto Eco-tourism Zone

Phaanto Eco-tourism zone is an adjoining forest area to Jhirna & Dhela zones of Corbett Tiger Reserve. It is managed by Tarai West Forest Division. The habitat of this zone is also preferred by various species of flora and fauna.
